Next Intake: May 2019 (Part-time or Full-time)

Full-time: Thursdays 9:30am – 5:00pm and Fridays 5:30pm – 8:30pm.
Part-time: Saturdays 9:30am – 5:00pm, Tuesdays 5:30pm – 8:30pm and Thursdays 5:30pm – 8:30pm.

Course Details:

Certificate IV in Screen and Media
15 weeks (breakdown: 15 weeks face-to-face study; plus take-home assessment).
2 Days Full-time or 1 Day and 2 Evenings Part-time per week.
Entrance Requirements:
There are no requisites for this course.
Course Aims:
This is a course for prospective make-up artists who want to gain up to date make-up skills required for fashion, bridal, editorial and TV, as well as make-up for retail.
Career Prospects:
Work as a Make-up Artist in the TV, Bridal, Fashion, editorial and photographic fields.
Course Delivery:
The course is presented via face to face teaching, demonstration and practical exercises. Learners experience a simulated work places environment, with access to equipment, products and facilities reflecting industry practice. Out of college experience is available, but is not assessed as part of the course.

Assessment Methods

Ongoing assessment based on training package assessment criteria, involving practical and theoretical examinations.

Self-directed Study
It is expected that on average each learner complete a designated 10-12 hours/week of additional self-directed study.
