An Intensive Part-Time class.

This course is designed specifically for those who wish to seek work as a Make up Artist In Bridal, Special Occasion and Photographic Industries, and for those who wish to know how to apply make up on themselves.

All Tutors are Professional Make up Artists with a MINIMUM of 10 YEARS INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE AND A PROVEN TRACK RECORD. Students are encouraged to bring a friend or family member to act as a practice model, or may pair with another class member.

 The course covers the following skills areas:

The basics of all make up

> Health and Hygiene
> Make up Products, Tools and Equipment/ Application Techniques
> Corrective Make up /Face Shapes and Highlight and Shading

> Skin Colour and Neutralising bags, pigmentation, tattoos etc

> Make up for personal, clients and brides. This is a great course for those who wish to start the make up education in a cost effective way and learn the basics of Make up to then know if this is what they are after, and then move onto the Cert 2 or Cert 4 courses if they wish. It also works just as well for those who want to be more informed about their choices with regard to make up application & products.

ALL OTHER MAKE UP PRODUCTS USED IN THE CLASS ARE MANUFACTURED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE AND ARE SUPPLIED IN FULL BY THE COLLEGE. (BRANDS INCLUDE RCMA, BEN NYE, LA FEMME, AIRCRAFT, VISIORA AND NUMERIC PROOF)
