Step 1

Model Samantha Edwards with her hair laid flat with an application of Gaf Quat. Derma Shield skin barrier has been applied to protect Sam’s skin.

step 2

A bald cap is fitted and trimmed to fit. The edges of the cap are being glued down with Telesis 5 silicone adhesive and blended with Pros-Aide Cream and Duo adhesive. The prosthetic gelatine chin piece is being test fitted for placement.
step 3

All prosthetic pieces have been glued down with a combination of Telesis 5 and Pros-Aide. The pieces and bald caps base colours were pre-painted with a combination of Skin Illustrator inks and Pax (Pros-Aide + Acrylic) to save time.
step 4

All details like shading, skin pigmentation, eye and lip colours have been added using a combination of airbrushing and hand applied Skin Illustrator inks.
A hand knotted hairpiece has been applied with a matte spirit gum like WM creations Matte Adhesive. Costuming completes the look.

Diploma graduate Leah Taylor completed this look for her final project.
