There are no formal educational requirements for the course.

Course Aims:

This course is for people interested in gaining specialist skills in make-up for film, television, theatre, fashion, photography and weddings.

Career Prospects:

Work as a make-up artist in film, television, fashion / catwalk, bridal, glamour, theatre and photographic fields.

Course Delivery:

The course is presented via face to face teaching, demonstration and practical exercises. Learners experience a simulated work place environment, with access to equipment, products and facilities reflecting industry practice. Out of college experience is available, but is not assessed as part of the course.

Assessment Methods:

Ongoing assessment based on training package assessment criteria. There are three clustered assessment points: one is week one, a mid year assessment in week 20 and a final assessment at the end of the year – practical and theoretical examination.

Fee Payment
Fees can be paid by credit card (Mastercard and Visa), by cheque, cash or direct bank deposit. Payments must be calculated in Australian Dollars (AUD). Please contact the college for further details.

Advance Payment

Full fee payment in advance attracts a discount of $250.00 (Only applicable to students not receiving government assistance).

Administration Fee (International)

International students are required to pay a $2,500.00 non-refundable fee to cover the costs associated with international student administration.

Fee Payment Before Enrolment

The College requires a deposit to be paid before enrolment into a course. Australian Government regulations require that overseas learners pay the fees for the first semester of a course before a Confirmation of Enrolment Certificate (CoE) can be issued. Learners will require these details before they are able to finalise their student visa.
