ACMUSE has a team of dedicated, Industry professional training staff. These trainers are highly skilled in the fields of Makeup and Special Effects and have committed themselves to the highest standard of training.
ACMUSE prioritises consistency in it’s training staff. Trainers are selected from within the Industry and must hold the required qualifications and have experience working as a Makeup Artist.

Scott Lattimer
Colour Guru, airbrush extrodinair and SFX star. Al is well known throughout the makeup Industry for his eye for detail and understanding of the relationship between light and colour. Al Has been an ACMUSE educator since 2003 and has helped many students achieve the careers of their dreams as SFX makeup Artists. Al’s credits include - The Matrix and Mad Max Furiosa

Netty Hardy is renowned for two things, Her Passion and Committment to her students and the Makeup Industry. Her knowledge and talent for Makeup is extensive and her love is infectious. With over 30 years as a professional Makeup Artist, Netty’s credits include Mission Impossible and Star wars
Annette Hardy
Tam graduated from ACMUSE in 2007 where she completed 2 years and learned everything she could about Makeup and SFX. From there she went on to complete her hairdressing certificate and has worked consistently since 2009 across film, television and fashion. Her Credits include - Dance Academy and Pirates of the Carribean

With two Makeup studios upstairs, a complete SFX workshop and In house photographic studio downstairs.
At ACMUSE you will be able to practice your skills in a space specifically designed for Makeup Artists.

Experience
ACMUSE is the first place the Professional Industry approaches for Work Experience Students
In 2022/2023 ACMUSE students had the opportunity to gain experience working on Films like the upcoming; George Millers Furiosa and The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
In Addition to film students were involved in Television projects filmed for Netflix, Disney and Stan, and Freeview Networks. This includes Stans Bali 2002, The upcoming Network 10’s Paper Doll and The Artful Dodger.
Theatre productions have seen the ACMUSE students assist in the promotion of Wicked and the 2022/2023 Advanced Diploma students helped bring Shrek to life,In the Kings and Tara Anglican School for Girls production of the Shrek musical.
ACMUSE students are often involved in Australian Fashion Week and assist on numerous fashion shoots.
